Natural Lemon Tree Flavoring by More than Cake. 2oz. Enjoy the fresh light zest that THIS lemon flavor brings. Not a sour note here. This flavor reminds us of a nice lemon chiffon.
Use these powdered flavors and save a bundle over liquid flavors! Powdered flavors are only 1/3 the cost per recipe!
Adding to Fondant - Use the flavors while you are kneading your fondant. Create a small 2-inch impression, or indentation, with your thumb in the middle of your fondant. Sprinkle the powdered flavors into the impression, and continue kneading as you normally would. Start with 1/4 teaspoon per 1 pound of fondant. Using an 1/8 teaspoon measuring spoon, sprinkle additional flavor to taste.
Adding to Buttercream - After all ingredients for the icing are mixed, add 1/4 teaspoon of powdered flavor per 2 pounds of buttercream and continue mixing. Using an 1/8 teaspoon measuring spoon, sprinkle additional powdered flavor to taste.
Adding to Cake Batter - After all ingredients are mixed, add 1/2 teaspoon powdered flavor to each recipe. Sprinkle additional powdered flavor to taste. Batters and doughs may require a little more flavoring than, say, fondant.
The flavors can also be used in candies, chocolates, cookies, whipped toppings, meringues, fillings ... just use your imagination and surprise them with flavor!
NOTE: With all of our flavors please wait about 2 minutes after mixing to let the flavors "fill" your mix. Then taste. Our flavors get more intense after a two minute rest.
